Brunch with Bisquick -- Bunny Butt Pancakes

Oh yes, I totally went there. I turned my pancakes into a bunny butt and it was delicious. And weird. And delicious. And fun.

And delicious.

When Bisquick and Tablespoon asked me to create a few Easter-themed pancake recipes for them, I was ALL. OVER. IT. Seriously? You want me to make pancakes? Like a whole bunch of pancakes? That’s like, what I do for my fun times. So yes, yes I will make Easter-themed pancakes and devour them all in a single sitting for you. Oh, that wasn’t part of the plan? Well, I, uh… did it anyway. And I do not regret it.

I’ll stop talking now.

But before I do, let’s talk about this bunny bum pancake situation, which could not be easier to put together. It’s basically a giant pancake with two small egg-shaped pancakes on top decorated with whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate chips. It will take you just as long to make the pancakes as it will take you to decide to make them in the first place (which, in case you haven’t gotten the hint, shouldn’t take very long at all). Rumor has it they taste particularly good on Easter morning, and they have been known to gather little ones around the table in record time (especially if they can make their own bunny butt pancake, which is highly encouraged).

If you haven’t filled out your Easter brunch menu yet, mayhaps you can fit these adorable Peter Cottontails onto the menu. And if you stick around over the next week, I’ll have a couple more pancake options for your Easter brunch for you to drool over make. It’s going to be fun! And delicious.
